/ How it works

How AI and people keep your sites working.

Surya runs its operated products with AI agents, people on shift 24/7 and site supply chains from the Surya RTP Distribution Center: agents take first responses and permitted device flows, engineers take exceptions, prepared equipment reaches your sites to the agreed configuration, and your named owners approve consequential actions. On that ready foundation, your teams can use approved AI for their own site work, with Surya setting up the purchased platform and your team owning the workflows and decisions. Surya Standby, Surya Endpoint and Surya Fabric are the products; Surya's IT agents, backed by Surya's human team 24/7, are how they are delivered. Surya Agent Platform is bought on its own as the Microsoft foundation for the business agents your team builds.

/ How it is run

AI and people. One operating standard.

Surya's operated products are run by three parts together. The Surya Agent Network takes the first response on a support request and runs the device flows it is permitted to run. Anything it is not permitted to finish goes to Surya engineers on shift, and consequential actions wait for your named approving owner. Where physical equipment is in scope, the Surya RTP Distribution Center prepares supported equipment to the agreed configuration, stocks the site and replenishes it, with handover and custody recorded.

78%

of responses are AI-first

AI-first means the first response to a support request comes from the Surya Agent Network, not a person. Measured across every customer Surya operates, over the 90 days to September 2026.

Three shifts

365 days a year

Surya engineers are on shift around the clock, every day of the year. What the agent cannot finish goes to a person who is already working.

Nothing consequential without a person

Inside Surya Endpoint and Surya Fabric, the Agent Network works under Surya Control: routine, allowlisted operations run under your standing policy; privilege grants, destructive actions and broad policy changes wait for your named owner.

Supply chains configured for your sites

From the Surya RTP Distribution Center, Surya prepares supported equipment to your site's agreed configuration, supplies site stock, records authorized handovers and returns, and replenishes equipment within the purchased scope. Equipment, stocking levels and delivery arrangements follow the agreed product configuration and written scope.

Under Surya Standby on its own, the Agent Network runs the replacement loop - issuance, returns, replenishment and the custody record. Surya Control is not involved, because there is no tenant scope to govern.

The Surya Agent Network is how Surya operates the infrastructure it is responsible for. Your agents run your business workflows. Its metrics describe Surya's own support operation, not your agents.

What stands behind them.

An agent that can only send a message is a chatbot. These agents finish the job because Surya's people stand behind every one of them and, where it is in scope, three physical things do too.

  1. 01

    Surya engineers on shift 24/7.

Engineers on shift around the clock, 365 days a year, take what an agent should not. Each agent hands off to a person at the points shown on its card.

The supply chain at the Surya RTP Distribution Center.

Your replacement devices and site equipment are built to your standard, stocked, shipped and replenished from one building in Research Triangle Park. When Mara says the replacement is ready, it is because a person at RTP already built it and put it on a truck.

  3. 03

    Prepared replacements at your sites.

Where Standby covers workstation recovery, replacements are held in a Surya-operated smart locker, every slot tracked. Qualified network and site spares can sit in an existing secure room or cage with the agreed custody tracking. A network-only scope, an Endpoint profile without physical recovery and Agent Platform alone need no locker.

  4. 04

    Dedicated agentic compute at RTP.

Your hires run on hardware assigned to your organization alone, in the Surya RTP Distribution Center. Not shared with another customer. Every action logged off the hardware within seconds. Switched off from your own tenant, by you.

    How it works →

The agents are how the work gets done. Surya's people, the building, the prepared replacements and the hardware are why it gets finished.

/ Who does what

You know your business.
We give you the platform to build on.

Surya helps you choose a supported starting configuration and gets the purchased platform set up and working. Your team leads the business work at your sites.

An agent is software that performs approved work using your business systems. Your team decides what it may do and approves the decisions that matter.

Surya

  • Help selecting a supported starting configuration
  • Purchased configuration, onboarding, testing and handover
  • Supported Microsoft environment, identity and access in the agreed scope
  • Supported platform, model and data connections in the agreed scope
  • Operation, security and recovery only where an operated product is purchased

Your team

  • Choose the business goals
  • Own workflow design and approve automations
  • Own business data and permissions
  • Approve consequential decisions
  • Lead adoption and measure results

Agents assist approved work. Clinical, legal and production decisions, and machine or process control, stay with qualified people and the systems that own them.

/ Adoption

From one component to an operated foundation.

  1. 01

    Name the business goal

The work your sites and people need to do, or the microsolution you need now, such as Microsoft licensing with optional setup. You do not need to choose the whole stack.

  2. 02

    Agree the supported setup

Surya confirms the supported configuration, access and data prerequisites and responsibilities, then quotes only the purchased scope. A license-only order stays license-only.

  3. 03

Run the workflow on a ready platform

Purchased setup is configured, tested and handed over. Your team, or your application partner, designs the workflow and approves what it may touch.

  4. 04

    Operate and expand when ready

Surya operates where an operated product is purchased. More workflows, users or sites can prompt further scope, after compatibility and any transition are agreed.

Goals buyers bring

  • Approved access when people join or change roles across your locations
  • Approved documents for teams at your clinics or plants
  • Routing routine requests from your sites to the right team

These are examples of customer goals, not prebuilt agents supplied by Surya. The workflow, its application and its process stay yours.
