/ Standby

Standby.

Standby — a spare, built and waiting. A failing device is a person not working; Standby makes the replacement arrive before the failure does.

$20 per person per month

$500 a month minimum — covers up to 25 people. Buyable on its own; it does not require the program.

/ How it goes

Three steps, and you can stop at any of them.

01 / Start here

Standby

$500 a month

  • ·A spare finished on your current setup, kept current as it changes
  • ·Held at our facility, tracked by serial number
  • ·Ships the day you call it
  • ·Return label goes with it; certified erasure and a certificate come back

02 / When minutes matter

Add a locker

Priced by the slot

  • ·Everything in Standby
  • ·The spare sits in your building, not ours
  • ·Opened by badge or code, no one waits for a truck
  • ·Right for clinical sites and anywhere minutes cost money

03 / The whole company

Your IT Department

$100 a head

  • ·Standby included, no separate line
  • ·AI-driven support with human specialists
  • ·One setup per role, every machine patched and locked down, reachable only by its owner
  • ·Every machine tracked by serial number, start to finish

The meter does not change as you move.

Getting a machine to someone new (Ship / new-hire kit) $135 · Adding your branding and accessories (Kitting) $25 · Getting a machine back when someone leaves (Retrieve) $110 · Checking it in when it reaches us (Receiving) $10 · Erasing it for good, with a certificate (Secure wipe) $20 · Rebuilding it for the next person (Reprovision) $95 · Moving someone to a new machine or a new role (IMAC) $95 · Retiring it responsibly (Recycle handoff) $20 · Holding a machine until someone needs it (Storage) $8 per laptop per month. Same rates at every step.

How it works.

  1. 01

We watch what every machine is already reporting about itself — battery wear, disk health, crashes, overheating.

  2. 02

It looks for replacement opportunities before failure: a device trending toward a dead battery or a failing drive is flagged while it still works.

  3. 03

It contacts the person directly — confirms the replacement, agrees the timing, answers questions.

  4. 04

A configured replacement ships from the distribution center with the return label already printed — or, where smart lockers are deployed at your site, the AI points the person to the spare already staged there.

  5. 05

The old machine comes back to be checked, repaired, or retired with a certificate. The record updates itself.

What changes for you.

Today

Something breaks. Someone opens a ticket. Triage, a queue, maybe a loaner, days of a person at half speed.

On the program

The case often opens itself. The replacement is confirmed with the person, not discovered by them. The swap is the fix — from the locker down the hall or the next shipment out of the hub.

The boundary.

Standby — a spare, built and waiting. Your IT Department — complete IT support and engineering for $100 per person. Standby included. Standby comes with the program, and can be bought on its own. Operation-stopping site devices — firewalls, controllers, local servers — run the same mechanics under Surya Critical, quoted per device class and per site.
