About / Surya Technologies

End-to-end AI-driven IT services, with a physical layer under them.

Surya runs Your IT Department: managed IT at a flat $100 per person per month, with device movements billed at published per-event rates. AI-driven end-user support with human specialists behind it, every machine kept patched and locked down, and company systems reachable only by the person they belong to (Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra), your standard setup kept current, and the full physical device lifecycle.

The physical layer runs from our HIPAA-aligned, NIST 800-171-aligned national configuration and distribution hub in Research Triangle Park, NC. Behind it sit Surya's engineers, automation specialists, and security operators. That bench serves customers nationwide; the hardware moves through RTP.

End-to-end AI-driven IT services

AI runs the service. Human specialists handle what the AI hands off. Your IT Department covers support, every machine kept patched and locked down, and company systems reachable only by the person they belong to (Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra), your standard setup, and the physical device lifecycle — plus your Azure infrastructure, run to the operating system line as its own published line.

A physical layer under the software

Our national configuration and distribution hub in Research Triangle Park, NC — HIPAA-aligned, NIST 800-171-aligned — is where every device we set up, recover, wipe, and re-stage moves through.

Every number published

A flat $100 per person per month — $5,000 a month minimum, which covers up to 50 people. Device movements bill at published per-event rates. Azure infrastructure management is its own published line. The initial deployment and any mass deployment event are quoted as fixed-scope projects. No hourly rates.

One national hub, on-site spare pools

RTP is our national configuration and distribution hub, with same-day dispatch. The model scales by staging more spare pools — spares already set up with the standard setup, ready to use — at more customer sites, all served from the same hub, on one operating standard and one published price.

Who's behind it.

Surya has operated from Research Triangle Park since 1999 — twenty-six years of managed services under the same operator.

Founder & CEO

Ashvin Babu

I started Surya in 1999, hosting Exchange and running BlackBerry enterprise services, and built out from there. Twenty-six years later I'm convinced the old managed-services model is stuck. It only scales by hiring more expensive specialists, and there aren't enough of them anymore.

It also keeps selling something that stopped existing. In 1999 a company your size had real architectural choices to make, and somebody who could map them was worth paying. That fork closed. The identity, device and access layer has one answer now, so we don't sell you a plan for it. We sell the thing already built, at a published price.

So we're building something different. AI runs the service, humans fix what the AI can't, and neither one bills you by the hour. Under it is a real floor in Research Triangle Park, staffed by people who want the work and want to stay.

Delivery is global with a localized US component. The jobs we create here are the ones that are practical to create here: warehouse, operations, admin and sales, with benefits and somewhere to go after year one. Employees on the other end get their time back because their devices work.
