A vehicle moves. The locker gives the operation a fixed place to recover from a device failure. The vehicle returns to the yard, depot, station or precinct and the crew swaps the failed device. When the vehicle is away, the replacement can ship to the site on the customer's carrier account. The dead unit returns to the same locker. Surya replenishes used inventory the next business day, and every device and every handoff is tracked.
