When a foreman's tablet dies at the building, the crew cannot pull drawings, log hours or close out the day. When the estimating workstation goes down, bids do not go out. The yard is the fixed place to recover before a replacement has to travel.

An on-site badge-access smart locker sits at the yard, depot, station or precinct. It is the fixed recovery point for the devices that ride in the vehicles.
At the yard
The on-site badge-access smart locker holds approved replacements for field crews and the office. The locker sits where trucks leave from and where a failed unit can be returned.
Behind the yard
The hub holds the approved setup and receives every returned unit. Surya records the serial number, manages repair, warranty, certified erasure or retirement, and replenishes used inventory the next business day.
Job sites move; the locker doesn't.
Construction sites move; the locker does not. Field devices are swapped from the locker when the truck comes back, or shipped to the site on the customer's carrier account. The first step is the locker at the yard, depot, station or precinct. Surya provides and operates the locker. The customer purchases and owns the replacement devices inside it. Surya replenishes used inventory the next business day. Every device and every handoff is tracked.

Beyond the field devices
Job-site network kits, the yard firewall, plotter interfaces and survey-controller interfaces run under Surya Critical, through the same qualification process and chain of custody. Quoted separately.

Every device and every handoff is recorded, by serial number. A used replacement is replenished the next business day. The operation starts at the place the vehicles leave from.
